Two of my hobbies are competing with each other.
"You either get rid of one of your bookshelf or no vanity table"
"Can't I put the bookshelves in the living room?"
"yes, ONE bookshelf. We can't have 3. There's not enough space!"
Good thing I bought Kobo eReader or we'd be buried 10 feet deep in books. When B become a "baller", I will request for my own library.

Hahaha I have a similar problem with book shelves as well especially since I share a room with my sister =( I think a really cool idea would be to line your upper walls with those book shelves all around the room, does that make any sense? =S lol Luckily my brother practically doesn't use his room and we managed to fit two full shelves in there hahahaha I'm sure you'll be creative enough to have the best of both worlds!
When my bf becomes a baller I will request 10ft windows and my entire home will be Marie Antoinette themed =) I brought this idea up with my bf and he doesn't like it very much, needless to say there is going to be much debate about home decor hahahha but apparently he will let me have reign of the home as long as he has a man cave =)
Oh gosh, my bf and I already had a few "debates" over where we should put our bed. I've washed my hands clean of his office cause he refuses to listen to my ideas.
I definitely like the 10ft windows concept :) I LOVE large windows but I cringe @ the amount of heat loss in the winter. <--- This is what happens when you start paying hydro bills =.=
